KENT HOUSEBUILDER SHORTLIST
FOR PRESTIGIOUS AWARD

Kent housebuilder Regalpoint Homes have been shortlisted for one of the most prestigious
property competitions, the Evening Standard New Homes Awards. Their previous development
Regal House in East Grinstead has been shortlisted in the “Best First-Time Buyer” category.

The collection of 1&2 bedroom apartments is now fully occupied, with over half of the residents being first
time buyers and the scheme achieving sell out success in just four months. Some of Regal House’s
highlights include a combination of open plan and private living spaces, Juliet balconies, individual
parking spaces, and one of the most helpful features – the inclusion of the Help to Buy
scheme that aided many purchasers into their first new homes.   

Tony Porter, director of Regalpoint Homes comments; “Regal House was the perfect development
for first-time buyers because of the quality of the apartments and their close proximity to amenities,
popular towns and excellent travel links.

Tony goes on to explain, “It is a massive boost to have been successful in the tough first stages of the competition.
When we heard that the judges wanted to arrange a site visit, we allowed ourselves to get a little excited,
but to hear that we have been shortlisted and have a chance of winning is incredible.
Fingers crossed we will be holding a trophy later on this month!”

Currently, Regalpoint Homes have two schemes underway and a number of other projects in the pipeline.
In Tunbridge Wells they are adding to their excellent track record of apartments with Regal Gate,
consisting of four 1 bedroom apartments right next to the station. Building has just started on their
Tonbridge project, which will bring fourteen new apartments with 1 and 2 bedrooms and a
3-bedroom mews house (all with parking) in the historic area of town.
